JGVV Book Bank

Shri. Jaigopal Garodia did not want that the student community be deprived of education for want of books and hence he started the Charitable Book Bank for college students during the year 2000. Since then, it grew up by leaps and bounds.

This charitable book bank is unique in nature and appreciated by the dignitaries visiting the JGVV Trust and may be the only one in the entire country run by a non-governmental organization which does not collect any money from the students. Even the customary membership fee which is a must in all the libraries including the government ones is not levied here. The books are given free of cost to any one without any distinction of caste, colour or creed. Thousands of graduate and post graduate students from more than 200 colleges benefit every year. Thirty three thousand books worth Rs. 80 lacs are kept in the book bank.

The students will definitely make good citizens of the country. By establishing this book bank, one of the lifes ambitions of Mr. Jaigopal Garodia, our Founder Chairman has been achieved. The book bank has become one of the monumental masterpieces. The success rate of the book bank is complete with 100% returns with no defaulter.

The Book Bank beneficiaries proved to be assets. They pass out with flying colours, get placement in reputed organizations and IT Majors in abroad too! The Book Bank produced University Gold Medalists. In 2008 Neeraja, one of the Book Banks user got Anna University Gold Medal by securing University First Rank. In 2009 Revanth got the prestigious Anna University Gold Medal.
